Pre-Workout Stretches

Pre-Workout Stretches

Stretching before walking or working out preps our body for what’s to come. Here are some of our favorite stretches to get your body ready:

Jumping Jacks
Jumping jacks warm up many different muscle groups and get our heart pumping.

Knee Pull
Pull each knee up to your chest with your hands and hold for five seconds to stretch the quads.

Leg Up Stretch
We can prop our leg up on a chair and lean into it to help stretch all of the muscles.

Brisk Walk
We can go for a quick speed walk or light job to help get our muscles going.

Cross Body Arm Stretch
Bring each arm across your body to fully stretch the muscles in the arm.
